This versatile engine provides a single solution that harmoniously balances space optimisation and exceptional performance, addressing the evolving needs of compact construction and industrial equipment. With a dynamic 2.8 l, four-cylinder configuration, the F28 generates robust peaking torque at 375 Nm at 1,400 rpm, ensuring the power required is available right when needed. Thanks to advanced engineering features – such as EGR channels integrated into the cylinder head, a reduced liner bridge design, and the most compact after-treatment system in its class – the F28 delivers impressive 3.4 l performance within a compact 2.8 l package, facilitating easier vehicle installation.
