Having commissioned phase one of its first road building equipment manufacturing plant in India at Sanand near Ahmedabad, France-based Fayat Group is eyeing asphalt mixing plant exports to Southeast Asian markets in the future. At an initial investment of Euro 16 million (Rs 116 crore), the plant will be manufacturing asphalt mixing plants at a capacity of 25-30 plants per annum even as it looks to add other products in future. Through its Road Building Equipment Division, the Euro3.6 billion Fayat Group offers products such as asphalt mixing, paving, compaction and recycling plants.
