GDL revenue grows
GDL Group?s revenue from operations increased from Rs 1,233 crore in 2014-15 to Rs 1,291 crore in 2015-16. EBITDA has gone down from Rs 238 crore to Rs 183 crore. The group?s consolidated net profit decreased from Rs 188 crore to Rs 110 crore. GDL board declared second interim dividend for FY 2015-16 of 30 per cent (Rs 3 per share) amounting to Rs 32.6 crore and applicable taxes. The first interim dividend for 2015-16 of 40 per cent (Rs 4 per share) amounting to Rs 43.5 crore and applicable taxes was paid in February 2016.

According to Prem Kishan Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, GDL, the CFS business of the company suffered a setback during the year due to the temporary suspension of business at the second CFS at both Nhava Sheva and Chennai. These two CFS are now back on track and are expected to regain volumes during the current year.?
