Genie adds new telehandler
Genie has added the GTH-1256 telehandler to its existing line, which includes the smaller GTH-5519, GTH-636, GTH-844, and GTH-1056, and the larger GTH-1544. Providing high visibility over a low boom profile, the Genie GTH-1256 telehandler has a lift capacity of 12,000 pounds with a vertical reach capacity of 7,000 pounds at a maximum lifting height of 56 ft, and a 42-ft horizontal reach capacity of 3,500 pounds. The telehandler?s total weight is 36,600 pounds. The unit also features a military-grade chassis design (the same chassis from the GTH-1544) and Dana axles with full-time planetary four-wheel drive, along with four-wheel steering capability. The telehandler has a four-stage boom with internal chains and hydraulic hard lines for extra protection. It also has heavy-duty fenders and is powered by a Deutz 154-hp Tier 4-Interim engine, or a Perkins 148- hp Tier 4-Interim engine.
