HCC-AL FARA?A JV bags Pune metro contract
Hindustan Construction Company?s (HCC) joint venture (JV) with AL FARA?A has been awarded the Rs 484 crore contract by the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation, for Pune Metro Rail Project. The contract is for construction of eight elevated metro rail stations on line II (E-W Corridor) of Pune Metro Rail project. The work involves general and structural civil work of the station buildings and architectural and site development. The 14.66 km long line II of Pune Metro is completely elevated and has 16 stations out of which eight are being built by HCC.

This is the second order that HCC has received from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) for Pune Metro Rail project. The earlier order is to construct nine elevated stations on line I.
