HD Hyundai’s Largest Compact Track Loader
HD Hyundai Construction Equipment has introduced the HT38 compact track loader, the company’s largest model to date, at the 2025 Utility Expo. The HT38 is now available in North America and is designed for high lifting capacity, strong pushing power and compatibility with multiple attachments.

It runs on Hyundai’s 115-gross-horsepower D34 engine, generating maximum torque of 339 lb-ft at 1,400 rpm. The unit incorporates a reversible fan and PowerCore air filter to manage debris and maintain optimal operating temperature. A tilt-up cooling module simplifies cleaning, while operators can manually activate the fan cycle from the cab when working in dusty conditions.

Maintenance efficiency is further enhanced through a rear access point with a single swing-out door. Hyundai has strategically separated the fuel, hydraulic and DEF tanks to reduce the risk of mis-fuelling. The HT38 offers a maximum operating capacity of 3,807 pounds, which can be increased to nearly 4,000 pounds with optional counterweights. It can lift a 0.8-cubic-yard bucket to a pin height of 10 feet 9 inches and has a tipping load just under 11,000 pounds.

Contractors can select between bar or block tracks, available in narrow or wide versions. The HT38 represents Hyundai’s commitment to producing efficient, durable and easily serviceable compact machines for demanding construction environments.
