IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has bagged a Rs 326.99-crore rail contract from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. The contract involves construction of elevated structures (viaduct) of about 3.9 km length from Mysore road station to Pattanagere station, including four elevated metro stations in the west extension of the East-West Corridor of Bangalore metro rail project, phase-2.

The project is to be completed in 27 months from the date of issue of letter of acceptance. The company is executing two more contracts for metro rail projects.
