The 13th edition of International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME 2016) is all set to kickstart on November 16. IMME is India?s largest and focussed trade fair for the mining sector and is scheduled to be held from 16 to 19 November 2016 at Eco Park, Rajarhat, Kolkata. Large players such as Caterpillar, Tata Hitachi, L&T Komatsu, JCB , BEML, CASE New Holland, BKT, Mahindra, Liebherr, Volvo, SREI, Leeboy, Voltas, Joy Global, Atlas Copco, Sandvik, ABB and many more will be exhibiting at IMME 2016. Chaudhary Birender Singh, Union Minister of Steel, Balvinder Kumar, Secretary Mines, S Bhattacharya, Chairman, Coal India Ltd are likely to be present at IMME 2016. Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Steel, Ministry of Coal, and Coal India have extended their formal support to the event. Coal India will also be participating in the exhibition and they are also likely to have the meeting of their subsidiaries CEOs during IMME 2016.

Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Government of India is also an Exhibitor at IMME 2016. There will be eight international associations who are promoting Country Pavilions at IMME 2016.West Bengal Mineral Development & Trading Corporation Ltd and Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd have extended support to the event with the confirmation of a large space in the exhibition.
