Ingersoll Rand (IR) will invest Rs 100 crore to modernise its Naroda facility located in Gujarat. The company will also implement new manufacturing techniques that will enable the company to cut down on production time and eliminate wastage. IR develops technologies that are used in air treatment, filtration, storage solutions, energy-saving systems, remote monitoring, and compressed air machines for such sectors as automotive, food security and pharmaceuticals.

This investment is expected to help Ingersoll Rand meet customer demands better once economic activity picks up in India and the rest of the world.
