The Union government-constituted committee to enquire into the adverse environmental impact of the alleged illegal sand mining in Gautam Budh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh has bubmitted its report.

The three-member committee headed by Saroj, Director in the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF), has submitted its report to the Ministry. The report has been uploaded in the MoEF website 'http://envfor.nic.in/content/report-moef-sand-mining.'
