The Board of Indore Development Authority (IDA) approved infrastructure development works of Rs 1,207.39 crore of five Town Planning Scheme (TPS) projects proposed over 1,700 acres.
The scheme includes the Town Planning Scheme (TPS) 1 of Village Khajrana worth Rs 75.01 crore, TPS-3 of Village Talawali Chanda, Arandiya, Mayakhedi worth Rs 150.34 crore, TPS-4 of Village Nipania and Kanadiya worth Rs 129.05 crore, TPS-5 of Village Kanadiya worth Rs 201.94 crore, and TPS-8 of Village Bhaurasala, Kumedi and Bhagya worth Rs 851.05 crore.
According to a statement, the administrative approval excludes external power development expenditure. This approval opens the way for the overall development of Indore.
The Board meeting was chaired by the new Chairman, Jaypal Singh Chawda. Collector Manish Singh, municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal, CEO of IDA, Vivek Shrotriya and other officials were also present.
According to a source, around 8,500 plots were allotted in favour of the cooperative housing societies, which are involved in several schemes of the IDA.
Another important
decision that was taken was the renewal of lease deeds. The landlords have been
freed from the requirement of no-objection by the housing cooperative
societies. It will ease the lease renewal and make the work of landlords
easier.
