Kairas Vakharia is the Senior Vice-president, Innovation & Business Head, Construction Equipment, Mahindra and Mahindra. Currently he leads the Innovation function at M and M?s automotive and farm equipment sectors, and also heads the construction equipment business. He has been with Mahindra and Mahindra since 1992 and has previously held various positions in the corporate office, the farm equipment and automotive sector.He holds a Bachelor`s Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Bombay and has a Master of Science Degree in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University, USA. Kairas was an Eisenhower Fellow for the year 2003. He has earlier been active in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as a member of the Western Region Council and Chairman of the Agriculture Committee of the western region.
