A Master in Automotive Engineers from MIT, Guindy, Sanjay Wadnerkar is the Vice President at LiuGong India, heading team of more than 140 with 26 years of experience in automotive, CEV original equipment manufacturing.

In this career path, Wadnerkar has held various positions and leadership roles in companies like Kinetic Engineering, Toyota, Hindustan Motors, Avtec and Honeywell. He has brought with rich experience and expertise in technology transfer, product development and new product introduction, manufacturing operations, supply chain management and customer service functions. Wadnerkar was heading various roles in business verticals with excellent track records. He is excited to face challenges and accomplish the task like on-time launch of new products, developing products to comply the emission regulations and product improvements for reliability.

Looking at the future, he feels that the new Government initiatives in rail and road infrastructure and the smart city developments will continue to drive the growth for construction and mining equipment, big demand-supply gap in power sector should not be ignored. He will remain instrumental in bringing the new generation LiuGong products as value proposition to customers with better profitability.
