Italian CE export up 6%
In the first six months of 2015, construction equipment sales in the Italian market rose 29 per cent, with 4,030 machines sold. Results consisted of 3,871 earthmoving machines (25 per cent) and 159 road machines (308 per cent). Exports also grew up by 6 per cent in the first four months of the year. Export of tower cranes grew 30 per cent, road machines 20 per cent, earthmoving machines 7 per cent and drilling equipment 5 per cent. Export of crushing and screening equipment grew just one per cent while persist the negative trend for concrete equipment, down 4 per cent. Import grows too, up 36 per cent. Paolo Venturi, President, Unacea, said, ?It is a sign of recovery of the internal market, even within the complexity of the situation. In fact, the general economic trends are still uncertain and even if there is a reasonable expectations improvement, it is necessary to encourage these first signals of recovery.?
