JCB India Opens New 3S Dealership in Ranchi, Jharkhand
JCB India has inaugurated a new 3S dealership facility in Ranchi, Jharkhand, operated by Premsons Motor Udyog. The facility aims to strengthen the company's regional presence by providing integrated sales, service and spare parts support to customers across 15 districts of the state.
Spread across 18,000 sq ft, the dealership features a four-bay workshop and is supported by approximately 230 professionals. It will serve as the headquarters for dealership operations across Jharkhand, catering to the growing demand for construction equipment in the infrastructure, mining and industrial sectors.
The facility incorporates advanced digital capabilities, including a fully operational JCB LiveLink Command Centre. The telematics platform provides real-time insights into machine performance, utilisation, maintenance requirements and security, enabling round-the-clock fleet management support.
Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director, JCB India, highlighted Jharkhand's growing importance in India's infrastructure and industrial development. He stated that the new dealership reinforces the company's long-term commitment to the state while strengthening customer engagement and service capabilities.
Developed in accordance with JCB's global corporate identity standards, the facility also incorporates a rainwater harvesting system to support sustainable resource management.
JCB India operates six manufacturing facilities in the country and exports construction equipment to more than 135 countries. Its nationwide distribution network comprises over 65 dealers and more than 700 outlets, supported by nearly 8,000 trained personnel.
