JCB India’s largest Parts Centre inaugurated in Haryana
JCB India inaugurated its largest Parts Centre at Bhaproda, Haryana. The facility spread over 150,000 sq ft will provide parts support to the northern Indian region. It will cater to 15 dealer locations and contribute almost 40 per cent to JCB’s parts business in India. Located on the four-lane NH 334B near Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, the route enables quick connectivity towards the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor and critical customer bases in north India.
Inaugurating the new Parts Centre, Deepak Shetty, Deputy CEO and Managing Director, JCB India said, “This location gives us the unique advantage of having access to trained manpower, future scalability options and an approach to all major highways. By investing in this state-of-the-art warehouse infrastructure, we have continued to remain committed to the India Growth Story for over four decades. It will help in developing a local ecosystem for JCB machine owners and dealers, and will also provide employment opportunities to more than 100 people, including women.”
The Parts Centre is a modern state-of-the-art facility, having one of the highest standards for safety and energy efficiency. While SAP enables accurate control over inventory and transactions, the TOC concept ensures material availability at the site and at the dealer’s end. Its fire-fighting equipment includes roof sprinklers, fire alarms and a fire detection system. The warehouse’s energy efficiency is designed to bring about 60 per cent reductions in energy consumption.
With this, JCB India’s total warehouse capacity has increased to 310,000 sq ft covering five locations in India, including Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Guwahati. Establishment of these warehouses at strategic locations is aimed at a more efficient inventory management process and quicker shipping turnaround for customers.
