Jens Ennen is Mani?to??woc?s new Senior Vice-President of En?gi?neering and Inno?vation, and is responsible for fur?ther developing the culture of innovation and new technologies within Mani?towoc Cranes. He will also work with his team to imp?rove processes and enginee?ring best practices through?out the entire cranes or?g?anisation. He will work closely with regional EVPs and global marketing to de?velop successful products that fulfill the needs of Ma?nitowoc customers. En?nen will report to Eric Etc?hart, President and Gene?ral Ma?n?ager, Manitowoc Cranes.

Etchart says that En?nen?s vast crane expertise will be a major asset in this role. Prior to his promotion, Ennen was director of engi?neering for mobile cranes. He has been with the Grove organisation since 1996, working in various engineering and enginee?ring management positions. Prior to joining Grove, he worked for Krupp. Ennen will be based in Wilhe?lmshaven, Germany until summer of 2012, when he and his family will relocate to Shady Grove, Pennsy?lvania, US.
