Western Australian crane hire company Kwik Transport and Crane Hire has added its fourth Grove all-terrain crane to its growing rental fleet. Its latest delivery is the largest crane in the Kwik fleet, the 170 t capacity GMK5170. Kwik expects the crane will help meet surging demand from the resources industry in Western Australia.

Peter Robinson, General Manager for Kwik, says adding the GMK5170 to their fleet allows the company to win work in new markets.

Kwik plans to use the GMK5170 for a variety of jobs, including medium-size construction; long-reach lifting, such as air-conditioning and swimming pool work; heavy engineering and transport logistics lifting.
