L&T Partners FAYAT to Market BOMAG Road Equipment in India
Larsen & Toubro’s Construction & Mining Machinery business has recently partnered with FAYAT Road Equipment Division (FRED) India to market BOMAG’s specialised road construction equipment in India. The agreement covers marketing, sales, after-sales support and spare parts supply.
Under the partnership, L&T will offer BOMAG road milling machines, soil stabilisers and cement spreaders. The specialised equipment will complement L&T’s existing road machinery portfolio and enable the company to cater to a wider range of road construction, maintenance and infrastructure applications.
BOMAG, headquartered in Germany, is part of France-based FAYAT Group’s Road Equipment Division. L&T said its nationwide service network and central warehouse in Nagpur will support customers with technical assistance, spare parts and after-sales services throughout the equipment lifecycle.
The companies expect the partnership to improve access to advanced road construction technologies in India as infrastructure investment drives demand for efficient and sustainable equipment. FAYAT operates across more than 170 countries, while L&T’s construction machinery business serves customers across India’s infrastructure, construction and mining sectors.
