Options and solution
KION India introduced this scheme in collaboration with Yashaswi Institute of Technology (YIT) as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The scheme aims to train the manpower at our production facility. The scheme also bridges the gap between the non-availability of trained manpower and the industry skill demands.
The scheme was an opportunity for the candidates aiming for a diploma from YIT. Candidates in the age group 18-26 are recruited on merit basis. Usually they have basic technical knowledge which is boosted and adapted to suit the organisation. Along with on the job training, candidates are to attend classes after working hours and complete practical courses at YIT.
Other than a stipend, KION India also supports the candidates by providing tuition fee, uniform, subsidised food, medical/accidental insurance facility. After completion of three years, candidates are awarded a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Technology. With added skills, candidates can further look for various opportunities in the industry and develop successfully as a professional.
