Liebherr crane for Bangalore IT Park tower
A new 9-storey tower in the Gopalan Global Axis technology hub in Whitefield, Bangalore, a venture of Bangalore realty major Gopalan Enterprises (I), has topped out with a Liebherr 71 EC-B 5i undertaking lifting duties including rebar and concrete pours throughout construction.
The crane is able to cover virtually the entire 97,000 sq ft floor plan. With a 5-inch slab thickness and 4 m floor height, main contractor Gopalan has maintained a two-month complete floor cycle with the slab divided in to three separate pours. The company?s highly experienced crane operators have praised the unit?s 2-4 fall wire system.
