Liebherr Container Cranes will supply two double boom ship-to-shore cont?ai?ner cranes to TCEEGE cont?ainer terminal in Aliaga, Turkey. The container cranes will operate on a pier and be capable of unloading super post Panamax vessels on either side of the pier. Each crane has two booms with a waterside out?reach of 50 m and span of 36 m. Total lift height under spre?ader is 38 m. Safe working load is 60 tonnes under twin lift spreader and 70 tonne under hook beam. Hoist speeds are 60-150 m/min, while crane travel speed is 60 m/min. A machinery house trolley is insta??lled with a trolley speed of 200 m/min. The cranes will be delivered in the third Quarter of 2012 and will be the first of double boom Liebherr cranes in operation at the port. Liebherr supplied its first dou?ble boom crane to Piombino, Italy in 1976.
