Liebherr to unveil four new mobile cranes at bauma 2019
Liebherr will introduce four new products from its Mobile Cranes Product Division at the bauma 2019. These new cranes feature high performance, economy and flexibility thanks to the consistent advanced development of successful technologies. Two of the new cranes have already been presented at the 2018 customer days at the manufacturing plant in Ehingen ? the five-axle 230 tonne LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane and the LR 1800-1.0 crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 800 tonne.

The Mobile Cranes Division will unveil two brand new products at the bauma 2019 event ? an eight-axle mobile crane designed for maximum performance and a five-axle crane whose designers gave economical and flexible crane jobs around the world the highest priority.

The new 230-tonne crane not only delivers an extra 3 m in length but also has an average of 20 per cent greater lifting capacity. In addition to a multi-functional folding jib, a 43 m fixed jib is also available. Crane operators can use the LTM 1230-5.1 particularly safely and efficiently with Liebherr innovations VarioBase?, VarioBallast, ECOmode and ECOdrive.

Outstanding lifting capacities and low cost transport around the world are the main features of Liebherr?s new 800 tonne crawler crane. The LR 1800-1.0 has been designed as a particularly powerful industrial crane for jobs with a luffing jib and derrick system, for example for power plant construction and the petrochemicals industry.
