Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu announced the launch of the third phase of the Mumbai Urban Transport Projects (MUTP). He also announced a plan under which the state and central governments will form strategic partnerships with private entities to create small railway lines connecting industries to main lines. The third phase entails an investment of Rs 11,441 crore.
