Mahindra Unveils BLAZO i-TRK With 10% Better Mileage
Mahindra Truck and Bus, part of the Mahindra Group, recently unveiled the all-new Mahindra BLAZO i-TRK, aimed at improving profitability, uptime and operational control for heavy commercial vehicle operators.
Built around the company's ‘Profit Ka Rocket’ philosophy, the new BLAZO range is designed to help customers run more efficiently while improving earnings and fleet management. Mahindra claims the BLAZO i-TRK can deliver up to 10 per cent higher fuel efficiency.
The truck also comes with an industry-first 48-hour uptime guarantee backed by an assurance of Rs 10,000 per day, subject to applicable terms and conditions. The initiative is intended to reduce downtime and improve vehicle availability for fleet operators.
The BLAZO i-TRK is powered by Mahindra's next-generation 320 hp mPOWER engine and incorporates the iMAXX 2.0 connected vehicle platform. The advanced fleet telematics system is designed to give operators greater visibility and control over vehicle performance and fleet operations.
The combination of connected technologies, intelligent engineering and enhanced fuel efficiency is aimed at improving productivity and lowering operating costs for truck owners.
The launch strengthens Mahindra's presence in India's heavy commercial vehicle segment as manufacturers increasingly focus on connected technologies, fuel efficiency and higher vehicle uptime.
Mahindra Truck and Bus offers light, intermediate and heavy commercial vehicles for cargo and passenger transportation. The Board of Directors of SML Mahindra Limited had also approved the acquisition of Mahindra Truck and Bus Division from Mahindra & Mahindra Limited on a slump-sale basis. The transaction is expected to be completed during FY27, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.
