Make in India initiative has been pivotal to our re-entry into the market
Lintec & Linnhoff launched its new Linnhoff DRX DurableMix asphalt plant series. It also launched its locally manufactured Linnhoff TSD1500 MobileMix asphalt plant. The plants will be built by its newly appointed licensed manufacturing partner, Gainwell Engineering.
Speaking on the new launches, Daniel Chan, Chairman, Lintec & Linnhoff Holdings, said, “There will be two models in the new series: the DRX1500DS, with a maximum capacity output of 120 tonne per hour; and the DRX2000DS, with a maximum capacity output of 160 tonne per hour. Both units offer productive operation with a batch cycle time of between 45 and 55 seconds and share a host of trademark features familiar to Linnhoff customers.”
He added, “The Make in India local manufacturing initiative has been pivotal to our re-entry into the market, as we envisage scaling up the business with our perfect blend of high quality, local production based on the very best of European engineering design. Our commitment and investment in India reflect the confidence we have in this globally-important economy.”
Sunil Chaturvedi, Chairman and Managing Director, Gainwell Commosales, said “We are delighted to partner with Lintec & Linnhoff to indigenously manufacture state-of-the-art high-technology products and support the building of sustainable infrastructure for the nation. The endeavour uniquely represents India’s abiding commitment to emerging as a self-reliant nation or Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
He added, “Our endeavour to extend ‘Solutions for Growth’ reaffirms our commitment to providing excellence in customer experience and outstanding value to all our stakeholders. We focus on embedding technology into the end-to-end customer life cycle to provide solutions throughout the customer journey. Leveraging automation, cloud, Artificial Intelligence, analytics, and service technology models, we will leave a deep footprint of world-class service on this business as well.”
“By combining our world-leading German engineering know-how, quality and reliability with local manufacture and expertise, we are ideally placed to create unique machines that are perfectly suited to the needs of customers in India and the surrounding region,” concluded Daniel Chan. “We are confident that this strategic collaboration is merely the beginning of a long-term partnership providing robust, reliable and premium asphalt and concrete mixing plants that will greatly support India’s vital infrastructure development for many years to come.”
On long-term plans, Chan said, “Additionally, in the long-term, we plan on using India-based licensed manufacturing to support some of our regional customers, so finding a partner with a similar business ethos, as well as the capability and resources to meet our high standards in manufacturing and distribution, was a critical part of the selection process.
