Manitex Valla has delivered the first two units of an all-new nine tonne pick and carry crawler crane, the Valla 90TRX. The new crane was designed for Northern Escalator Installations in Halifax, West Yorkshire and purchased through the Valla distributor of the UK, Hird. The new crane fits between the five tonne Valla 55TRX and the 12 tonne 120DTRX, it has an 8 m, four section main boom, plus a 3 m fly jib option with up to 15 degree of offset.

The crane has an overall length of just 3.4 m, and is 1.735 m wide, with an overall height of 2.35 m. It is available with diesel, LPG or electric power - the two first cranes were LPG powered. The crane does not slew but can virtually turn within its own length.
