Marching Ahead
LiuGong launches BSIII compliant machines at Excon 2011.

LiuGong India has introduced three new machines: two models in wheel loaders CLG835 BSIII and CLG856 BSIII and the CLG414 BSIII motor grader manufactured at its Pitampura plant in Indore. All meet the Bharat State-III emission standards. Specifically desi?gned to suit the Indian job site conditions, LiuGong has taken credit as the first global manu?facturer to deliver BSIII mac?hines to the Indian market.

"Wheel loaders represent the pinnacle of our technical know-how," said Sunil Sapru, President, LiuGong India. He added, "These machines offer exactly what customers need, they are highly productive, fuel efficient machines with proven technology and incomparable durability. We have had unpara?lleled experience in getting all of the specifi?cations right - between load, power, breakout force, counterweight, traction and bucket chara?cteristics, no one knows wheel loaders better than LiuGong."

Whether transporting pal?lets of supplies or buckets of material has to be done, LiuGong's 835BSIII wheel loader/tool carrier can smoothly handle any job. LiuGong 835BSIII weighs in at 11,200 kg and has a payload capacity of 3,500 kg, 500 kg more than the previous model. The 835BSIII has a powerful, water-cooled Cummins India engine and offers 92 kW rated power that produces 101 kN of breakout force to aggressively dig deep and fast into any heap of loose materials.

The 835BSIII's smooth parallel linkage configuration offers a full 40o turn tipping load of 7550 kg. The de?sign offers excellent visibility to the bucket edge and its surrounding job site. LiuGong use their own BS305 transmission in the machine - it gives a travel speed of
up to 36 km/h around the job site.

LiuGong's CLG414BSIII motor grader combines similar power and performance.

The machine, used primarily for highway con?struction and road maintenance, offers the new, powerful, water-cooled BSIII Cummins engine rated at 112 kW. The machine muscles its way through the toughest surfaces and con?ditions. As with all LiuGong machines, operator comfort, accuracy and safety receive the utmost attention. The fully enclosed air-conditioned cab offers an adjustable control console so that the operator can counter them to their needs. The CLG414BSIII has a spacious cab mounted on a viscous isolation mount system. This system provides a vibration-free environment with excellent visibility to the worksite. A stan?dard Grammer suspension seat makes sure that the operator remains comfortable and alert.

The CLG414BSIII offers a high reliability hydraulic sys?tem, using the world-class components. The load-sensing hydraulic system increases the ease of precision operations using less fuel, and the dual circuit brake system ensures reliable braking in the event of a failure.

Power from the Cummins engine is transferred to a Hang Zhou ZF 6YD13 transmission with six forward and three reverse gears. The mould board is supported and rotated by a unique sealed ball bearing roller circle. The sealed roller circle provides much more ac?curate blade control than the conve?ntional open gear type of blade circle supports. This means that, other than grease, no maintenance and no shims and or adjustments are needed. Owners can also order the optio?nal rear ripper/scarifier or front push blade for tough jobs.
