Market-driving
With over 20 years of industrial experience working with capital goods in the energy and environment space, V Radhakrishnan, Country Head, Aggreko India, sees himself as market-driving as opposed to market-driven. Radha, as he is known in the industry, began his career in engineering and moved on to product development, sales and marketing, and business development, all within the capital goods space. Radhakrishnan had a small stint within the aftermarket service business before assuming the P&L responsibility for the Heating Business unit at Thermax, where he successfully led the acquisition of an entity from Europe in 2010 as a first step for creating a global footprint for Thermax.

As Aggreko's Country Head, Radhakrishnan is responsible for creating a sustainable and growing business for Aggreko in India for both depot and project business. With the power deficit of estimated to be close to 20,000 MW on base load and over 40,000 MW in peak load it is inevitable that this is of course also vital to support the growth agenda of the country.
Aggreko believes industrial users in India will look at temporary power solutions to sustain their operations, and has a proven track record of being the market leader in the nascent power rental space. This calls for educating the market and being innovative in Aggreko's offerings.
