Schwing Stetter has launched the GR150, a 150 hp motor grader at Excon 2015. Being an ARAI certified product, it can be used in various applications such as road building, cutting a ditch, earthmoving or fine grading. It is predominantly used in road construction and maintenance grading requirements. Powered by Cummins India, 6 cylinder engine with dual fuel filter and dual entry for turbo charger. This engine meets Bharat Stage III emission norms. Less fuel consumption, silent operation and lower emission are some of the features always associated with GR150.

The steering system is completely hydraulically controlled and comes with conventional front axle steering for road transit along with articulation to provide minimum turning radius at work sites. The power shift gearbox which is electro hydraulic controlled with a three element torque convertor and an electronic joystick jointly provides the operator the ease of gear shift with minimal vibration. The lock mechanism enables the operator to manoeuver the vehicle at a constant acceleration. This eliminates operator fatigue as he/she need not be on the accelerator pedal every time.

The spacious operator cabin is air conditioned and features two adjustable seats, ergonomically designed accelerator pedal, antiskid flooring, adjustable steering wheel, gear change at the touch of a button and car like dash board with bright LED lights.

With optional load sensing system, the power of engine can be judiciously utilised, at the same time giving the operator a better control. Mold board has high wear resistant cutting edge and a patented overload protection mechanism. To improve the precision at the fullest shoulder stretch, two guide rails are provided along the length of the blade.

Turn table is compact and closed, making it an ideal one to operate in a dusty environment.
