New Holland Fiat India, a subsidiary of CNH Industrial, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Madhya Pradesh for establishing new training centre in the state and providing innovative products for mechanisation of sugarcane harvesting, cotton mechanisation, corn mechanisation and biomass management. The MoU was signed at the Haldhar Agri Expo 2014 in Bhopal.

The state government has been aggressive to take the mechanisation forward in the state. To initiate sustainable mechanisation of sugarcane and other crops, the company is partnering with the Directorate of Agriculture Engineering (Government of MP) for setting up new agri training centre to provide the requisite training in using these agricultural machines and their technology, as well as transferring its knowhow and expertise to all stakeholders including farmers, operators, technicians, cane teams and department officers of MP government.
