Ramesh Kymal, Chairman & Managing Director, Gamesa Renewable Pvt Ltd, Chennai, has been elected as Chairman of CII Tamil Nadu State Council for the year 2016-17. Kymal?s name was announced at the first meeting of the reconstituted Tamil Nadu State Council held in Chennai. Kymal has been closely associated with the CII and was the Vice Chairman of CII Tamil Nadu State Council during 2015-16. He has also been the Chairman of Renewable Energy Council of CII Godrej Green Business Centre since 2003.

Kymal has over 25 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, casting his leadership traits across multinational renewable energy corporations, thus bringing out continuous growth in India?s renewable energy business. He is the recipient of the Solar Society of India Award in 2005 for ?Business Leadership?.
