Oerlikon Graziano together with PVD coating specialist, Oerlikon Balzers have jointly demonstrated leading transmission-toughening solutions at the TECO -?15 meeting. Held June 16-17 in Milan, Italy, at the prestigious headquarters of 24ORE Group, the event promoted advanced technologies from Italian companies in the mechatronics, automation and power transmission sectors. The Oerlikon Group demonstrated the benefits of Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) through a series of case studies, including the delivery of a strengthened transmission for the 750 HP Aston Martin Lagonda One-77 project.

Evidence of the benefits provided by successfully employing PVD coating technology in transmissions has been demonstrated during the event.
