Oerlikon Graziano has showcased its hybrid and electric family of transmission systems at VDI Wissenforum in Friedrichshafen. The objective was to constantly present new ideas and concepts to OE customers which would enhance the overall performance of their vehicles. Oerlikon displayed the 2SED, a dual-speed seamless-shifting transaxle that can be coupled with a transversal electric motor, for front or rear full electric axle, and the electric transmission multispeed 4SED, a new compact, lightweight transmission that boasts increased efficiency, seamlessly smooth shifting and a scalable design, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicle types.
