Nitin Prasad is the Country Head for the Shell Lubricants business responsible for managing all its business activities in India. In a career spanning over 15 years, Prasad has held diverse roles within Shell across strategy and portfolio, project management, sales, marketing and operations including senior strategic advisor in the Downstream Strategy and Portfolio team and Sales Director for hydrocarbon solvents. In his last position, Prasad was the regional head in Singapore for the Chemicals Supply Chain for all of Asia-Pacific as well as the Middle East responsible for the operational start-up of the SEPC Petrochemical facility as well as managing the ongoing operations from the existing regional plants.

Prasad has also worked as a strategic marketing manager responsible for new product development in Altera Corp (a semiconductor company based in the US). He is an Engineering Graduate from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and has completed his MBA from INSEAD.
