Excon is returning after a gap of two years. How has been the experience at the event?
We are very glad to see that Excon is happening this year. As this is the first show that we will be participating in post COVID, we are excited to be a part of it and look forward to meeting with existing customers one on one and making new connections. The experience at the past events has been very good.

What are the key products on display during Excon? Explain in detail.

How do you look at the market in India for your products?
The emerging technology trends in OTR tyres in India will be towards fulfilling the requirement of higher load carrying capacity, faster speeds, low rolling resistance with the advent of EVs and value added technology like connectivity/IOT – embedded sensors to make the tyres more durable, efficient, long lasting and smart.

Please share more information on the investment made in the Indian market in terms of the manufacturing facility, etc.
We have partnered with Michelin for pneumatic tyres for underground mining in India, have developed a comprehensive range of wheel rims, have invested in additional foam-filling capacity and increased stock levels in our endeavour to offer our customers a single point source for all tyre related components and parts. This will ensure significant freight and logistics cost saving and reduced turnaround time for the customers.
