Paradip International Cargo Terminal (PICT) is likely to become operational by February 2018. The contract for developing of multipurpose berth to handle clean cargo, including containers at Paradip Port on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis for 30 years was awarded to Paradip International Cargo Terminal (PICT). The draft at this berth will be increased to 17.1 m with a length of 450 m, which will also facilitate handling cape-sized vessels of up to 1,25,000 DWT.
