Netherlands-based Globram added its RM 90 hydraulic breaker back into its hydraulic breaker product line up. When the company launched the RM 88 a few years ago, demand for the former dropped substantially, eventually leading to its disappearance from the range although it was still available on demand.

In recent months, Globram had noticed an increased demand for the RM 90 from its customers. Dealers who had been working successfully with the RM 90 in the past, once again showed great interest in this model. According to a market analysis, the increased demand is the result of a shift in the excavator weight classes: the market share of 11-12 tonne machine class has grown considerably.

Prior to its reintroduction, this 650 kg (1,430 lb) breaker for 11-12 tonne carriers was redesigned with a completely new casing with noise absorbing coating and the Intelligent Breaker System: a fully automatic system that adjusts power and blow frequency based on the material to be broken.
