Raimondi Unveils CTL 712-45 Luffing Crane at CONEXPO
Raimondi’s Terex Tower Cranes recently launched the new CTL 712-45 luffing jib crane at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, expanding its high-capacity tower crane portfolio for demanding high-rise and large-scale construction projects. The new model offers a maximum lifting capacity of 45 tonnes and is equipped with a 70 m jib delivering a tip load of 5.8 tonnes. Powered by a 134 kW hoist winch, the crane can achieve lifting speeds of up to 226 m per minute in single fall mode, enabling faster and more efficient load handling on complex jobsites.
Designed for dense urban construction environments, the crane can be erected on an HD23 mast reaching a standard tower height of 63.4 m and achieving up to 131.2 m height under hook at maximum radius. Its competitive freestanding height capability provides additional flexibility for high-rise developments and constrained urban sites. The fully electric crane supports quiet, energy-efficient operations while reducing environmental impact and noise levels, making it suitable for modern sustainable construction projects.
The CTL 712-45 also incorporates several advanced control technologies to improve lifting precision and operational efficiency. The T-Line auto-levelling system maintains consistent load height during jib movement, enabling accurate load placement, while T-Torque inverter technology delivers smooth slewing and optimised torque control for operators handling complex lifting tasks.
To improve jobsite productivity and safety, the crane features streamlined assembly procedures with standardised pins and bolts, reduced tooling requirements and assisted assembly systems. Primary assembly can be carried out at ground level, enhancing safety and reducing installation time.
Additional design improvements simplify maintenance by reducing cables and connections, while protective enclosures and integrated handrails enhance operator safety during operation, maintenance and dismantling. With its high lifting capacity, precision control technologies and simplified installation process, the CTL 712-45 strengthens Raimondi’s tower crane range and addresses the growing demand for efficient lifting solutions in complex high-rise construction projects.
