Prior to joining Sany, Dr. Bhagwatikar was associated with Vestas, BP, Siemens and Welspun Renewables and played a key role in the growth through turnkey projects, greenfield development, re-powering, bidding and technology acquisition in wind and solar energy. He started his career with Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) where he successfully developed and operated first three demo wind farms in the 90?s during the wind energy programme formation in India.
Bhagwatikar holds a Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering and Electrical (Electronics & Power) and a Master?s Degree in Power Systems and Finance and Banking. He also holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Electrical Engineering with specialisation in Wind Energy.
