SPP Pumps, a subsidiary of Kirloskar Brothers (KBL) has been conferred as the 'Manufacturer of the Year' for the third time in a row at the 11th gala ceremony of Pump Industry Awards (PIA) 2014. While Jamie Lightly who has been associated with SPP Pumps for over two years was honoured with 'Engineer of the Year' award. Jamie joined SPP on the company's graduate training scheme. Speaking at the win, Alok Kirloskar, Managing Director, SPP Pumps, said,"SPP Pumps has proved its manufacturing capabilities with turnkey projects in various sectors such as oil and gas production, water and wastewater treatment, power generation, construction, mines and large industrial plants.
