Siemens India won the Super-Efficient Equipment Appliance Deployment (SEAD) Global Efficiency Medal for its 1LA2 series of low voltage IE3 induction motors, verified by testing of 3.7 kW and 11 kW models. The SEAD initiative is an international collaboration of 16 countries and an initiative under the Clean Energy Ministerial, a global forum to share best practices and promote policies and programmes that encourage and facilitate the transition to a clean energy economy across the world.
