Solar Installations
ACE has executed a project in Gujarat for a 5 MW pole installation and is in the process of executing a set of  50 MW projects.

ACE Infrastructure is a company involved in the field of infrastructure equipment related solutions since more than 15 years. The promoters have more than 26 years experience in the industry, interacting and working with many reputed companies in India in the field of telecom, water, power, real estate and others in the field of infrastructure development.

ACE has core competency in the specialised areas like soil engineering, infr?astructure installations, equipment sales and rentals, custom equipment and attach?ments for earthmoving equipment, equip?ment safety and productivity solutions, custom equipment modifications for niche applications, and equipment spares.

One of the core competency areas for the company is infrastructure installations, especially solar farm foundations (ramming, augering, screwing, vibro driving). The company provides end-to-end solution in construction equipment and also under?takes projects requiring special purpose machines. ?We have a dedicated vertical to solar installations and have executed a project in Gujarat for a 5 MW pole installation and are now in the process of executing approximately another 50 MW projects,? says Rajeev Mehta, Managing Director, ACE Infrastructure.

ACE executes foundation installation using different installation technologies selection based on soil criteria among others and as dictated by your foundation design. Pole installations are for static as well as for tracking type and the soil is different from normal soil to hard ground to rock to very hard compacted soils to rock and the process include ramming of the poles, drilling, augering, screwing and even precast concrete systems.

The machines used (in the photo) are second generation machines with a ramming speed of more than 1 to 1.5 m per minute which typically translates to 150 poles per day per machine.

The new generation machines being presently deployed:
?Are fitted with sensors to ensure accuracy and levels.
?Can be moved in X, Y and Z axis and additionally adjusted for pitch and roll.
?Are equipped to be retrofitted with drilling, augering, screw anchoring and ramming systems.
?Have big hydraulic flow and high work?ing pressures for faster installations
?Can be fitted with large ramming hammers for hard ground in addition to static thrust (biggest in the category internationally).
?Can be fitted with torque drive systems for drilling, augering or screwing.
?Can install long poles.
?Are of larger self weight for greater stability.
?Have crawler mounted with steel tracks.
?Can handle majority of gro?und condi?tions and difficult terrains as well.
?Have a greater working radi?us, hence less site movement.
?Are fitted and powered by latest, tried and tested Hitachi Japan hydraulics and power pack.
