Shipra Tripathi heads Corporate Global Marketing and Communications for Kirloskar Brothers. Her focus is on working with emerging economies in the continents of Africa and South East Asia. In her previous assignment, Shipra headed the Africa & Europe Desk, for Confederation of Indian Industry for nine years and has been responsible for creating the CII- Conclave on India Africa. She has worked as GSA for American Express (TRS) and as EA to the MD at Gajra Gears.

Shipra has authoured several articles on the growing economic engagement between India and Africa as well as India and South East Asia. She has travelled to over 30 African and South East Asian countries over the past years and has developed close contacts in these countries.

Shipra is a member of the CII Africa Committee, CII ASEAN & ANZ Regional Committee, CII Latin America & Caribbean Committee, CII National Committee on Exports, The Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI), India Water Partnership & FICCI - Africa Committee. A CII Certified EFQM Assessor, she holds a Post Graduate Degree in International Relations from the University of Delhi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of Jammu.
