TIL, the infrastructure equipment major and the market leader in mobile cranes in India has forged a distribution partnership with Hyster, a global leader in big trucks range for the sale and support of Hyster range of big trucks, container handlers and reach stackers across India. As part of this agreement, the Hyster designed reach stacker is manufactured for the Indian market under licence by TIL in India. TIL provides equipment and support for most major ports, terminals and heavy industry in the region, including defence and mining businesses.

?India has a large market today for port container handling equipment. With the bullish plans for infrastructure investment by the Indian government, we believe there will be significant opportunity for demand growth in big trucks, forklifts and container handlers in India,? says Satish Bhatnagar, Director and President, Material Handling Solutions Division, TIL.
The Hyster-TIL reach stacker is manufactured in TIL?s Kolkata factory under the same manufacturing processes and stringent quality standards employed in Hyster?s global manufacturing operations. In addition, it will provide a product solution which can be more closely tailored to local customer requirements.

Peter van Aalst, the Big Trucks Development Specialist from the Nether?lands, who trained the manufacturing team in India explains, ?TIL is starting production with one Hyster reach stacker model for the Indian market. This product will be built to the same Hyster design and quality standards as those produced in the Nijmegen plant in the Netherlands.? This reach stacker will be supplemented through the TIL Hyster dealership, with the entire Hyster big truck range to provide a comprehensive offering to heavy truck customers in India.
The Hyster brand is well known globally, with a long history of providing high quality, productive products and services. Coupled with the added distribution strength of TIL, one of the leading providers of heavy equipment products in the region, customers will benefit from the highest level of after-sales support to ensure maximum machinery uptime.
