Erich Nesselhauf handled global assignments in various countries in Europe and Asia including responsibility to kick start green field activities with a diverse mix of global and local teams with multi-cultural exposure. Prior to assuming the role of the Managing Director and CEO of DICV, Nesselhauf was responsible for the supply chain management function at DICV. He has in-depth knowledge in all functions of supply chain that spans across strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier assessment and development, supply chain design, quality assurance, project management as well as logistics. In his role as Vice-President, Supply Chain Management, he put together an efficient supplier base for the company and ensured the products achieved localisation levels of over 85 per cent.
He is a member of the Truck Asia Executive Committee, the Daimler Trucks Asia top management board, as well as the Executive Committee at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. In his role as member of the Daimler Truck Group Procurement management team, Nesselhauf defines and implements global procurement processes and policies, performance management and tracking, as well as emerging market sourcing guidelines. Additionally, he coordinates all non-production material sourcing decisions.
