Transmissions optimise performance
In the off-highway equipment segment, transmissions provide reliability in extreme temperatures and under severe vibration conditions which aid vehicles to attain their finest performance, fuel economy, and engine emissions. In simple terms, the main job of transmissions is to let the engine function in its narrow range of speeds while providing a wide range of output speeds. Highest requirements and customer expectation with respect to robustness, reliability, initial costs, functionality, efficiency and comfort are driving factors. The future of transmission systems will be how it can reduce the wastage of power.
Many of the major players who provide transmission solutions and products have come out with new solutions focusing on energy efficiency, smooth operation and productivity of equipment. During the past few years of recession, equipment suppliers were giving thrust on optimising the productivity of their equipment for a cost-effective operation on a long term perspective. This has helped the transmission solution providers introduce cutting edge solutions.
EXCON?s 8th International Construction Equipment and Construction Technology Trade Fair will be South Asia?s largest exhibition in this sector. Approximately, 850+ exhibitors including 275 from abroad are registered to showcase their products and technology during this exhibition scheduled from 25 to 29 November 2015. Leading economies like China, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Finland, Sweden, Turkey and UK have taken up individual pavilions.
This mega event would also have a large presence of SMEs in the component and aggregate manufacturing, showcasing India?s potential as a preferred outsourcing destination for construction equipment manufacturing. Many transmission manufacturing companies will be showcasing their expertise during the expo. This will be an ideal place for OEMs also to explore and assess the latest developments in components sector.
