Paolo Venturi (Ihimer) has been elected as the President of UNACEA, the Italian construction equipment association. Giampiero Biglia (CNH Industrial) and Davide Cipolla (Cifa) are the Vice Presidents.

The general assembly of UNACEA held recently at Verona Fair has elected the new Board of Directors that has appointed Venturi, Biglia and Cipolla. The other members elected in the executive board are: Giulio Riccardi (Lameter), Flavio Narcisi (FM Group), Enrico Prandini (Komatsu Italia Manufacturing), Mirco Risi (Simex), Paolo Salvadori (Le Oru-Imer Group), Enrico Santini (Fiori Group), and Michele Vitulano (Indeco).

In conjunction with the annual general assembly, UNACEA updated the forecast of the national production of construction equipment, which was about -?2,500 million in 2013, 52 per cent less than the peak of 2008 (-?5,216 million).
