VE Commercial Vehicles sells 5457 units in Feb 2021
VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors JV) recorded sales of 5,457 units in February 2021 (YTD 34,231 units) as compared to 4,586 units in February 2020 (LYTD 47,216), recording growth of 19 per cent (YTD decline 27.5 per cent). This includes 5,335 units of Eicher brand and 122 units of Volvo brand.
Following are the key highlights for February 2021:
- Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 5,335 units in February 2021 (YTD 33,318 units), as compared to 4,439 units in February 2020 (LYTD 46,132 units), representing a growth of 20.2 per cent (YTD decline of 27.8 per cent).
- In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 4825 units in February 2021 (YTD 29109 units) as compared to 3875 units in February 2020 (LYTD 41,631), representing a growth of 24.5 per cent (YTD decline of 30.1 per cent).
- On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 510 units in February 2021 (YTD 4,209 units) as compared to 564 units in February 2020 (LYTD 4501 units), representing a decline of 9.6 per cent (YTD decline of 6.5 per cent).
- Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 122 units in February 2021 (YTD 913 units) as compared to 147 units in February 2020 (LYTD 1084 units), representing a decline of 17 per cent (YTD decline of 15.8 per cent)
