Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) announced the appointment of Martin Weissburg as its new president, effective 1 January 2014. Weissburg, who succeeds Pat Olney, is currently president of the Volvo Group's customer finance company, Volvo Financial Services (VFS) and a member of the group executive team. Prior to joining the Volvo Group, Weissburg served as president of Great Dane Financial and before that as president of the manufacturing company Woodard LLC. He started his professional career in the field of construction equipment when he joined Caterpillar out of university as a marketing management trainee.
